The Ideal Candidate:
We recruit business leaders, executives, sales professionals, and sales engineers who are “always open to hearing about an opportunity”… they know if the opportunity isn’t great, they can always say no! Here’s a quick checklist of the quality of candidates with whom we typically work:

  1. We work with candidates (and clients!) who understand the “match” is more than what’s on the resume. It’s about fitting into the culture, philosophically connecting with the organization, and “hitting it off” with the hiring authority.

  2. We are often proactive in our recruitment efforts. We sometimes contact candidates because we have heard they are an “exceptional talent” and want to track their career. We do not have a multitude of random jobs on our desks to throw candidates into…we get to know the candidate first and then make strong matches within our clients’ openings if there is a fit. Doesn’t your career deserve as much?

  3. Ideally we work with candidates who are looking for a career, not a job. They are interested in the long-term opportunity and how it advances their career. Our kind of candidate is one who is running toward the potential opportunity, because it is one they can’t pass up - versus the candidate who is running away from their current opportunity because they are so burned out, bored, or unsuccessful.

  4. Our favorite candidate is thriving, successful, energetic, and contributing to the bottom-line. Our favorite candidate isn’t even looking, but is open to the right opportunity.

Building a Recruiting Relationship
To make the best matches, we always begin with a straightforward conversation about your background. Examples are:

• What has defined your career?
• What are some of your quantifiable achievements?
• What would you want in your next opportunity?
• What are your career goals?
• What are your “deal breakers”?
• What is your sales/leadership philosophy?
• What was your reason for leaving your previous job?

If we find enough connection points, and you agree, we move to the next step in the process.

We commit to investing time in getting to know you, and expect an honest and forthright conversation about your career in return. You can expect confidentiality at all times, and a high degree of integrity in handling you and your career no matter what the opportunity. We ask that you respect us as seasoned professionals, and our insight about client needs, the opportunities, and your fit with the opportunity. (more egos are bruised because candidates don’t realize it is not personal, rather a better-suited candidate has surfaced who is “the right fit”).
